How the Calculation Works
The calculation is based on finding the difference between the current year and the starting year. The program determines the number of complete years that have passed between them. This value becomes the whole number part of the result.
To get the value with decimal parts, the program calculates the remainder from the last complete year to today. The remainder in months and days is converted to fractions of a year. The final value is formed by adding the complete years and the calculated fraction. For example, if 24 complete years and 6 months have passed from 2000 to 2024, the result will be 24.5.

The count always goes from January 1 of the specified year to the current day. The app uses today's day, month, and year to calculate the result.
