Working and Non-Working Days Calendar | India
Working and Non-Working Days Calendar
The application displays a twelve-month grid and categorises all days as working and non-working days.
The calendar's basic logic relies on the standard work week. Regular weekdays are considered working days, whilst weekly rest days are non-working days. If a public holiday falls on a particular date, the application accounts for this event and highlights it in the grid.
When a specific year is selected, the calendar rebuilds to show the current schedule. Days that deviate from the standard work week are highlighted specially. Clicking on such a date displays a tooltip with an explanation.
The table serves as a reference list of public holiday dates in the selected year. It contains dates whose status differs from the standard work week. For each date, the day, its type (working or non-working), and the event name are indicated.
